After a long period away from printmaking, Belin returned to the technique in Oaxaca at Galería Arista Mendoza. There, alongside master printer Eduardo Arista Mendoza, he experienced a deeply enriching creative process: days devoted to creating, learning, and enjoying the craft through metal, acid, and paper.
For the artist, returning to printmaking meant reconnecting with the purity of a craft that demands patience, dedication, and respect for every stage of the process. Under the guidance of Eduardo Arista, each step became both a discovery and a celebration of the printmaking tradition, brought into dialogue with Belin’s own Post-Neo-Cubist language.
“Dulce” was born from this encounter between technique and emotion, tradition and contemporaneity. It is a work that reflects not only Belin’s artistic vision, but also the intensity of a creative experience lived with passion in Oaxaca. Presenting this piece means sharing a fragment of that journey and the emotions behind it.
